Getting Started with QIceRadar

Welcome to QIceRadar! This page will guide you through the initial setup and provide you with resources to help you get started with visualizing and analyzing Antarctic radar data.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

Installation Instructions

Follow these steps to install QIceRadar on your system:

  1. Download the latest version of QIceRadar from the GitHub releases page.
  2. Extract the downloaded files to a directory of your choice.
  3. Open a terminal and navigate to the directory where the requirements.txt file is located.
  4. Run the following command to install the required dependencies:
    pip install -r requirements.txt
  5. Run the following command to start QIceRadar:
    python main.py

Configuration Instructions

After installation, configure the QIceRadar plugin:

  1. Open the QIceRadar application.
  2. Navigate to the configuration settings.
  3. Set the root data directory, NSIDC token, and AAD credentials as required.
  4. Save the configuration.
